Bring an unmistakable character to your restaurant with Rustic Patina wooden table tops. Each board used in these wood table tops is hand selected for its level of character – too much character and there are difficulties in the sanding process, too little and it loses its appeal.
The tops are assembled with a mix of 1-1/2″ to 2″ wide quartersawn staves and have full plank ends. All nail holes and deep character marks are putty filled and the tops are skip-sanded to leave a textured surface. They are then coated with wood sealer and finished with 5 coats of catalyzed urethane in a matte sheen.
Rustic Patina Pine-White tops follow the same lumber selection and assembly process before a layer of new water-based paint is applied. The top is then carefully hit-and-miss sanded to leave varying amounts of paint and wood exposed. Because of this hand-sanded process, each top is unique.
Rectangle table tops are available up to 16′ in length and round table tops up to 6′ in diameter. Custom shapes and clipped or rounded corners are also available.
The fine wood tables and products we provide are handcrafted from material that is reclaimed or rustic grade wood; therefore, it includes character not present on traditional new wood. Color variation, knots, and a mixture of wood grain patterns is to be expected and is part of the beauty of our rustic wood products!
