The case interior and exterior is made of stainless steel and includes an adjustable thermostat with a temperature range of 95 F to 165 F. This temperature range is low enough to preserve active enzymes in fruits and vegetables, and is also high enough to meet safety standards for dehydrating meat for jerky.

Patented Dehydrating Features

The Excalibur 10 tray digital stainless steel dehydrator uses Parallex TM Horizontal Air Flow Technology, which provides the best drying and heating combination out there. Unlike other dehydrators on the market that come with plastic stainless steel trays this dehydrator comes with 100% stainless steel trays, except for the handles which are made out of solid plastic. The dehydrator includes an adjustable electronic thermostat and timer on the control panel that you won’t find on any other domestic dehydrator models. The electronic thermostat has a temperature range of 95 to 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

Two Step Temperature Setting
The Excalibur 10 tray model dehydrator offers the convenience of two steps to dehydrate food. You can start out with the higher temperature and once moisture is out you can continue with the lower setting.
