TIME REQUIRED BETWEEN SHARPENNING DEPENDS ON YOUR USE. SHARPEN YOUR KNIFE AS NEEDED.
REMOVE THE BLADE COVER.

TURN THE ELECTRIC KNIFE ON.
TOUCH THE SHARPENER TO THE BLADE WITH A 45 DEGREE ANGLE AT THE LOWER PART OF THE BLADE.
HOLD THE SHARPENER PARALEL TO THE BLADE AND TOUCH THE BLADE SHORTLY AT THE TOP PART OF THE BLADE.
