Description

Ventless Hood, type 1, 29-11/16″ W, with 3-stage filtration: stainless steel baffle filter for large grease particles, electrostatic air cleaning filter and disposable charcoal filter, for use with electric fryers, stainless steel construction, cULus, NSF, CE (See spec sheet for appliance constraints)

 Ventless Hood System

This Ventless Hood consists of a built-in Fire

Suppression System and a Three-stage Air

Purification System.

1.Stainless Steel Baffle Filter traps large grease

particles.

2.Precipitator Filter (EAC) consists of an ionizer that

charges particles of dirty air allowing them to be

collected by an electrostatic force.

1 3.Disposable Charcoal Filter helps eliminate odor.

The FSH-2 is design specifically for electric fryers. The fryer being place under this hood must meet

the following specifications:

• Maximum electrical input of 20kW

• Maximum cooking surface area of 380 sq. in. [0.245 cu. meter]

• Maximum fry tank capacity of 110 lbs [50 kg]

• Fryer width (left side to right side) from 24” [610 mm] to 10” [254 mm]

Model FSH-2
• The FSH-2 free-standing design allows you to add cooking appliances in
the kitchen without the need for expensive modifications or the hassles
of installing, or expanding existing, conventional ventilation hoods.
• No venting outside needed. Generally, can be used where traditional
ventilation hood solutions are prohibited or too costly.
• The hood can be paired with approved appliances (per UL listing) and
features Giles’ proven 3-stage Electronic Air Cleaning system. Listed to
UL YZCT(7) complying with ANSI/UL 710B for capture and removal of
grease-laden cooking vapors.
• Accommodates appliances 10” to 24” wide.
• Exhaust air diverter minimizes required ceiling height clearance.
• Hood features a self-contained Ansul R-102 Fire Suppression System,
consisting of Automan release, 1.5 gallon tank, piping, nozzles
(appliance & plenum), detector link brackets and cable conduit. Final
field set-up, charging, testing and certification is required and must be
performed
